The Day Everything Went Really Wrong
I woke up with an aching head,
And realized I'd bumped into the bed,
Then, I made some coffee,
Too bad it was watery.
I gave up and went out,
Looked up and saw many a cloud,
They looked heavy and dark,
Hastily, I made my way to the park.
At the park was a coffee shop,
Where I met my friend, Bob,
He told me a deep secret,
That people called me a nerd.
I was so upset,
Didn't notice I was dripping wet,
It was raining heavily,
I ran home clumsily.
On the way,
A dog barked at me as if to say,
'You don't look any better',
'You should visit the barber'.
Finally, home sweet home,
I looked up and turned into stone,
My house was red in colour,
Oh my gosh, it was on fire!
The neighbours heard my yells,
And I heard some bells,
Thank God the fire brigade has arrived,
My neighbour and I exchanged high fives.
That night, I slept at my sister's house,
Where I heard a lot of cows,
I felt glad the day was gone,
Where everything went really wrong.
